From the Indian Premier League in March 2022 till today, all the teams have been gearing up for the mega-events, playing and practising the format at various levels.

Certain players have been consistently playing since IPL, who impressed everyone with their performances in the league and can be impactful players in the upcoming World Cup. Here we will look at those IPL stars who are a must-watch in Australia.

Wanindu Hasaranga- A bruising lower-middle order batter who is an aggressive leg-break bowler, impressed everyone right from the day Royal Challengers Bangalore picked him in place of Yuzvendra Chahal. The bowler emerged as the second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament, scalping 26 wickets in 16 matches.

Having played four matches in Australia, he has a strike rate of 100 with the bat and gives away an economy of 10.91 in T20Is. His overall economy in T20Is is 6.72, which is commendable and makes him a bowler to see in Australian pitches, which have less to offer to spinners.

Liam Livingstone- Being one of the most expensive picks of IPL 2022, he delivered as expected while playing for Punjab Kings. The middle-order power-hitter ran 437 runs in just 14 games at a strike rate of 182.02. He also was a handy bowler to scalp six wickets in 12 innings at an economy of 8.78.

His powerful shots delighted everyone absolutely in the IPL and will also be a sight in Australia. He has decent playing experience on Australian pitches while playing for Perth Scorchers, which will come in handy in the World Cup.

David Miller- A hard-hitting left-handed batter who made massive contributions to IPL 2022 title-winning Gujarat Titans in the middle-order. He emerged to be one of the deadliest power-hitter to face in middle-order. Playing for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2022, he scored 481 runs, averaging 68.71 with a strike rate of 142.73.

He has immense experience playing in Australia. Having played four T20Is there, he has scored 65 runs at an average of 32.50. His majority of expertise comes from the Big Bash League, where he plays for Hobart Hurricanes. His middle-order power-hitting will be a must-watch in Australia and a massive contributor to South Africa's innings.

Suryakumar Yadav - He is the image of trust and a person the team can rely on. While playing in the middle order for Mumbai Indians in IPL, he has accelerated and saved many games. With an average of 43.29, he scored 303 runs in eight IPL innings this season to be among the highest run-scorers for the franchise.

Suryakumar Yadav is currently the highest run scorer in T20I. He is in the best form in the history of T20 internationals, having a strike rate of 176.81 in the format. Though he lacks experience playing in Australia, he has performed terrifically against most teams at various levels.

Glenn Maxwell- He is not only the most vital strength of Royal Challengers Bangalore but also the captain of the Big Bash League team Melbourne Stars. He has been named one of the fastest run-scorers in the cricketing world. With 301 runs at a strike rate of 163.10 and six wickets in IPL 2022, he was a major contributor to the team's success.
