Many have been questioning his age; however, Dhoni has constantly been proving his importance to the franchise, and thus he can still become a significant asset in IPL! Since Dhoni left international cricket, there have been many talks about his capabilities to carry on in IPL. However, despite all discussions, the former CSK skipper led CSK towards their fourth title in 2021, shutting all the critics. In the current season where CSK is underperforming, the wicketkeeper-batsman was seen as pretty good with the bat as he scored a fifty in the match this season. Also, during the game against Mumbai Indians, when the team was in desperate need of an excellent finish, Dhoni rescued CSK with a blitz.
