The franchise cricket team is based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, in the IPL. The team is owned by RPSG Group, which previously owned Rising Pune Supergiant in 2016-17.
They play their home matches at BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. The team is captained and coached by KL Rahul and Andy Flower, respectively, while Gautam Gambhir is filling in the mentor role.
