Cricket News: India VS West Indies 5th T20I, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, and Ravi Bishnoi destroyed the West Indies to win it by  88 runs

After horrible batting from West Indies, India finished these five matches of the T20I series by 4-1. India took a different game plan for today, playing with three spinners, and together, they sent the whole West Indies team back to the pavilion at a score of 100

West Indies scored 79/4 at the end of the 11th over, and in the successive 28 balls, they could fetch 21 runs for a loss of 6 wickets. It was the first ever time in T20Is that spinners took all the ten wickets. That's how the Indian spinners dominated today over the West Indies.

The embarrassing debacle, which started with Axar Patel's maiden wicket first over, was continued by Kuldeep Yadav's three wickets and was finished by Ravi Bishnoi's four wickets.

Axar Patel first sent the top three batters back, and later, Ravi Bishnoi and Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets in over 12th, 13th and 16th.

On a chase of 188, only Shimron Hetmyer was the batter who showed little fight and scored 56 runs. Rest it was complete domination of India's spinners.

"We weren't good enough. India came out aggressive, but as batters, we didn't learn. As bowlers, we are getting better, but we need to learn faster.", said West Indies Captain Nicholas Pooran.

Earlier in the day, Hardik Pandya decided to bat first, and this time Shreyas Iyer was seen opening with Ishan Kishan.

While Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson failed to score runs, Shreyas Iyer capitalised on another chance by being the lead architect of India's inning. He scored 64 runs, and with little help from Deepak Hooda and Hardik Pandya, they could post a total of 188/7.

Team India is doing experimentation with everything. From batting orders to bowling and also the captaincy. In the post-match presentation, Hardik Pandya cleared his thoughts on being India's full-time captain. He said, "I was following our captain's roles. (Do you see yourself as a permanent captain?) Yeah, why not? If I get an opportunity, I'll be more than happy to do that."

A successful T20I series for India now comes to an end. They will be happy with all their experiments, which was good for them. West Indies, on the other hand, will have a lot to think about. This series for them was like a teaser of the upcoming T20 World Cup, considering their current batting line-up.
