    On July 12 at the Kennington Oval in London, England will play India in the first One-Day International. As the World Champions, England would like to play in white-ball format after having lost the T20I series. The addition of players from the recent Test Match victory over India, Ben Stokes, Jonny Bairstow, and Joe Root would strengthen the batting line up of the team. Indian bowling attack with the inclusion of Bhuvneshwar Kumar has given an extra edge to the pace and swing bowling lacking in the test match. Chahal has added the extra variety which was missing in the test series. With exceptional bowling in the IPL and in Vitality T20 international, Chahal brings the X factor in the bowling and good be decisive in the middle order when in-form Jonny Bairstow would be at play. England would face in form Surya Kumar Yadav and the opening pair of Rishabh Pant and Rohit Sharma who could change the game in power play. Hardik Pandya has added the missing all-rounder element in recent years and in tandem with Dinesh Karthik adds the play in the death overs. 

    England Squad

    Joe Root and Ben Stokes will add Red ball experience to the current England squad. Middle-order and Death overs stability will be maintained by Ben stokes which was lacking in England side. England is having strong side and it will be a great contest to watch.

    India Squad

    Shikhar Dhawan and Mohammad Shami will join the Indian team's roster as well. Both seasoned players are likely to be included in the starting 11. Rishabh Pant, who had started the batting in the previous two Twenty20 Internationals, would move back to the middle order if Dhawan were to open the batting for the squad.
