Shaheen Afridi is back 

Shaheen Afridi was away from cricket due to his knee injury, and this injury was the prominent reason which ruled him out of the Asia Cup this year. His return to the World Cup squad boosted Pakistan's bowling unit and their confidence. The left-arm speedster is well known for his stunning bowling skills, enough to haunt any opponent.

After his return, there were many concerns related to his comeback and whether he will be able to maintain the same rhythm after the long break. However, in the warm-up game against Afghanistan, he, with his toe-crushing yorker, proved why he is currently one of the best bowlers in the cricket world. The pacer got rid of both the openers in the first two overs, shattering Pakistan's top order. 

However, what stunned everyone was his toe-breaking yorker that sent back Rahmanullah Gurbaz. The searing delivery went straight onto the batter's toe, eventually getting him LBW. The intensity of the yorker can be understood by the fact that the batter had to be carried back to the dugout by a teammate. Considering his performance in the warm-up match, Shaheen Afridi is likely to rule this tournament and can emerge as a massive threat to the opponents.
