Jaipur Pink Panthers secured a 33-29 victory to lift their second championship trophy in VIVO Pro Kabaddi League history. Jaipur Pink Panthers decided to play this season with four specialist defenders and three specialist raiders instead of using too many all-rounders.

Unlike the previous seasons, all of the all-rounders in the Pro Kabaddi League have made it to the list of top 5-point scorers. Very few players were focused on contributing to the defending and attacking this year.

Let’s take a look at five top five all-rounders of the Pro Kabaddi League nine:

    Parteek Dahiya

    Team: Gujrat Giants

    Total Points Earned: 183

Prateek Dahiya was one of the top players for the Gujrat Giants this season. He is the nephew of the Indian International Cricketer Deepak Hooda and is following in his uncle’s footsteps but on the kabaddi map.

Young All-Rounder Parteek Dahiya moved to Gujrat Giants from Patna Pirates for a price of INR 8.78 lakhs. He racked up 178 raid points and five tackle points, including 11 Super 10s in his first season with Gujrat Giants.

    Rohit Gulia

    Team: Patna Pirates

    Total Points Earned: 148

Rohit Gulia was a shining light in the disappointing run of the three-time champions Patna Pirates at Pro Kabaddi League season nine. He accumulated a total of 148 points, with all of them coming from raiding. He also made 12 tackle attempts but failed to convert any of them.

    Mohammadreza Chiyaneh

    Team: Patna Pirates

    Total Points Earned: 89

Mohammadreza Chiyaneh played as a defending all-rounder in the left corner position for Patna Pirates this season. He earned 89 points this season, 84 of which were tackle points. The Iranian national also created a new Pro Kabaddi League by scoring 16 tackle points in the clash against Dabang Delhi KC.

    Vijay Malik

    Team: Dabang Delhi KC

    Total Points Earned: 82

Vijay Malik had to miss most of the matches due to an injury this season. However, he could still rack up 82 points from just 11 games to finish as the fourth most successful all-rounder this season. He played an essential role in Dabang Delhi KC’s sixth-spot finish this year.

    Deepak Hooda

    Team: Bengal Warriors

    Total Points Earned: 56

Deepak Hooda racked up just 56 points from 17 clashes in his first season for Bengal Warriors. However, he was dropped from the playing seven after failing to make much of an impact on the mat despite being one of the most successful Kabaddi players in history.
