VIVO Pro Kabaddi League: Bengaluru Bulls concede first defeat of the season against Bengal Warriors

    Bengal Warriors secured a 42-33 victory over Bengaluru Bulls in match 14 of the ninth season of VIVO Pro Kabaddi League at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru, Karnataka, on October 12

    Bengal Warriors began the match on an aggressive note as Girish Maruti Ernak pulled off two excellent tackles to help his team gain a 3-1 lead. Soon after, Aman successfully tackled Shrikant Jadhav, and Bharat Naresh made an effective raid in the 10th minute to help Bengaluru Bulls gain a 5-4 lead.

    Aman led the defensive unity of Bengaluru Bulls to reduce Bengal Warriors to two players in the 12th minute. The Bulls launched an All-Out raid in the 17th minute to take a 14-9 lead, but Bengal Warriors bounced back with a series of great raids by Maninder Singh to make it 15-14 by the half time.

    Bengal Warriors continued with the attacking momentum and carried out an All-Out in the early stages of the second half to further widen their lead to 20-17. They took complete control of the game as Maninder Singh kept adding raid points to earn a nine-point lead in the 28th minute.

    Just minutes later, Bengal Warriors made another successful All-Out to solidify their grip on the match. Vikash Kandola tried to narrow the deficit for Bengaluru Bulls with a couple of impressive raids in the game's final moments but failed to make a difference as Bengal Warriors closed out the match with a dominating victory.

    Captain of Bengal Warriors Maninder Singh was the star of the match and racked up 11 points, while raider Shrikant Jadhav scored six points to help Bengal Warriors hand Bengaluru Bulls their first loss of the season.

    In the other VIVO Pro Kabaddi League clash of the day, Dabang Delhi K.C. secured a 44-42 victory over U.P. Yoddhas. Defending champions Dabang Delhi continued their excellent performance to secure their consecutive win for the season.
