This second consecutive win of U Mumba 39-32 is owed to its great raiders Guman Singh, Ashish and Jai Bhagwan.

Defeating Tamil Thalaivas at Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium wasn't easy, though. The Tamil Nadu franchise started with a 6-4 lead, and despite all efforts by U Mumba to level the score, Thalaivas maintained their position by securing a 10-7 lead in the 13th minute.

A little later, a multi-point multi-point raid by Jai Bhagwan levelled the score between the two teams at 12 all; however, the first half ended with Thalaivas leading 16-15.

Though Tamil Thalaivas dominated the first half, the second half was a golden one for the Mumbai franchise.

Right at the beginning of the second half, a multi-point raid by Guman Singh took the score to 20-17 with U Mumba in the lead.

Soon after, Ashish's colossal multi-point multi-point raid gave U Mumba a massive lead of 31-22.

The three great raiders of U Mumba: Guman, Bhagwan and Ashish, left no opportunity thereon to score more points resulting in U Mumba's victory over Tamil Thalaivas in yesterday's match.

Meanwhile, on October 14, Jaipur Pink Panthers defeated Haryana Steelers to move to the second position, while Haryana Steelers moved down to the fourth position.

Jaipur Pink Panthers handed over the Haryana Steelers their first season loss by defeating them 44-31 this Friday.

The significant contribution to Jaipur's victory yesterday was made by their star raider Arjun Deshwal with 14 raid points.

Rahul Chaudhari and Sunil Kumar also made a further contribution in defeating Haryana Steelers for the first time this season.

In the last match of the day, Gujarat Giants secured their first victory of the season by defeating Puneri Paltan 47-37.

Like always, Gujarat Giants' victory is primarily owed to their star Raider Rakesh who made 15 points in the match.

Rakesh took out Paltan's two best defenders, Fazel Atrachali and Mohammad Nabhibhaksh and took a big lead of 16-11 in the middle of the match.

Though the first half ended in Gujarat's lead 19-17, Pune had started playing incredibly well by then as Atrachali tackled Gujarat's star raider Rakesh.

Though the game was tricky even in the second half, with both Gujarat and Pune playing terrifically well, Rakesh returned with even more finesse, and Gujarat ended the game with a lead of 47-37.
