Although Jaipur Pink Panthers have made it, the teams still have to play a few games and battle it out for the remaining four playoff spots. The top two will directly advance to the semifinals while the rest of them will face an eliminator before reaching the final four.

Here we give you six teams that could make it to the playoffs:

    1. Bengaluru Bulls

The Bengaluru Bulls are currently the third-ranked team and first in contention for the playoffs. They have 63 points out of 19 matches and have three matches remaining before cruising to the next round.

The Bengaluru Bulls could've advanced to the playoffs by defeating Jaipur Pink Panthers on Wednesday but they couldn't curate an early pass into the next round.

Although they couldn't make it to the semifinals, they could easily make it to the playoffs.

    2. UP Yoddhas

The Yoddhas have 60 points out of 18 matches and are at a score difference of 46. They still have four games remaining, with a game against Bengaluru Bulls and a game against Puneri Paltan, meaning they can overcome the Bengaluru Bulls.

With four wins out of five games, the UP Yoddhas are in good form. Pardeep Narwal has created a positive impact as the team leader and Sandeep Narwal has built an effective support system around their captain.

In addition, Surender Gill will make a comeback soon so things might work out for the UP Yoddhas.

    3. Tamil Thalaivas

After Pawan Sehrawat's premature departure, the Tamil Thalaivas had a gaping hole to fill. However, they persevered to climb to the fifth position, and now, they have 56 points out of 19 matches.

They have three matches remaining out of which they have a fair chance of defeating the Telugu Titans and Haryana Steelers. However, the team are still reeling after Sagar Rathee's injury and an inferior score difference narrows their chances.

Tamil Thalaivas have never qualified for the playoffs, and they must win their remaining games, hoping that the teams above them do not fare well in the upcoming few matches.

    4. Dabang Delhi

The defending champions have lost their magic this season and are sitting in the sixth spot with 54 points out of 19 matches. Dabang Delhi want to be the first team after the Patna Pirates to defend their title and for that, they need to remain consistent.

They had a powerful start to the campaign but suffered eight losses over time only to regain their momentum. Vijay Malik's comeback after a brief injury setback has compensated for Naveen Kumar's dipping form.

In the next few matches, they will try to better their score difference to continue their bid for a second title. However, they should respect big chances like their last match against Bengaluru Bulls.

    Notable mentions

U Mumba and Bengal Warriors are two more teams that could make it to the playoffs. The former must win two out of their last four matches to pull through.

Bengal Warriors are only two points away from Dabang Delhi and need to win at least three remaining games to advance to the knockouts.
