A super raid is earned when a raider gets three or more points and is one of the most sought-after or highest achievements acquired by a raider. It also dictates the flow of the game.

Super Raids require the raiders to have in-depth knowledge of technique and movement. They need to be physically strong and mentally agile simultaneously to pull it off.

The league has seen top raiders who have swept the crowd with great super raids. Here are the top five players in the league to have mastered the super raid.

    5. Rahul Chaudhari (129 Matches, 24 Super Raids)

Rahul Chaudhari was a reliable teammate who could guide his squad back to safety whenever the match slipped out of their hands.

He was expected to deploy his signature multi-point raids to change the game in their favour. It turns out that the Bijnor-born raider is rarely disappointed.

He secured 24 super raids over 129 matches and became the first raider to score 500, 700 and 800 raid points in the PKL.

    4. Rishank Devadiga (122 Matches, 25 Super Raids)

Rishank Devadiga is a powerful raider who is affectionately called "Mr. Do or Die" because of his ability to crush the opponent's defence. He is both bold and reliable while earning him quality super-raids in the league.

Over the last few years, he has played for U Mumba, UP Yoddha, and Bengal Warriors. He led U Mumba to a winning run in season two, leaving a lasting impact with his super raids.

    3. Pawan Kumar Sehrawat (104 Matches, 29 Super Raids)

Pawan Kumar's footing over the mat is magical, and his raids are often seen as miracles. He is a frequent user of the lion jump and the frog jump.

Pawan jumps off the back of defenders to almost 6-7 feet and scurries away to the midline in an unprecedented fashion. He was instrumental in Bengaluru Bulls' title win in 2018.

The Tamil Thalaivas have now landed him for a record-breaking INR 2.26 crores. Pawan's record includes 29 super raids in 104 matches.

    2. Maninder Singh (101 Matches 31, Super Raids)

Maninder Singh has won the league twice in five seasons despite being injured and off the mat for three years. Regardless of setbacks and challenges, he continued to deliver the same level of gameplay.

He joined the Bengal Warriors in 2017. Although they missed the playoffs last season, Maninder has 31 Super Raids over 101 matches to his credit.

    1. Pardeep Narwal (131 Matches, 64 Super Raids)

Pardeep Narwal, also known as Dubki King, is arguably the most desired kabaddi player in the league.

He scored 64 Super raids in 131 matches which speaks of his talent and high endurance on the mat. After a terrific stint at the Patna Pirates, leading them to three title wins, he sustained an injury during season eight.

UP Yoddha signed the Haryana-born for INR 1.65lakhs, but an ankle injury sabotaged his performance. He was the first player in the league to score 1300 raid points.
