Kabaddi in actionBengal Warriors – Kasinathan Baskaran
Kasinathan Baskaran has replaced BC Ramesh this season, who has now moved to Puneri Paltan as the head coach of PKL, season 9.
Baskaran has also coached the Indian team that won the World Cup in 2016. The coach is returning to the PKL season after a long break of 4 years.
Tamil Thalaivas – J Udaya Kumar
Despite Tamil Thalaivas finishing in the 11th position in season 8, they have also decided to continue with J Udaya Kumar in season 9.
Fans are expecting them to improve their performance in the upcoming season after a disappointing performance in season 8.
Telugu Titans – Manjeet Chhillar
Telugu Titans haven't finalised on a head coach yet, and in the absence of a head coach, Manjeet Chhillar has been appointed as the assistant coach for season 9.
Manjeet Chhillar had a crucial role in Dabang Delhi's victory in season 8 and has been employed by Telugu Titans for the next season, a team that finished last in the last season.
Patna Pirates – Ravi Shetty
As Ram Meher Singh has switched to Gujarat Giants ahead of season 9 of the Pro Kabaddi League, Ravi Shetty has taken Ram Meher Singh's place as the head coach of Patna Pirates.
Patna Pirates finished in the second position last season and are expected to win the title in the upcoming season.
Ravi Shetty is one of the oldest existing coaches in the field of Kabaddi. He has a long-standing experience of 2 years and is expected to bring Patna Pirates the title it missed in season 8.
UP Yoddhas – Jasveer Singh
Jasveer Singh started coaching UP Yoddhas in season 6 and is continuing to coach them in the upcoming season.
Due to the bad form of their star player, Pardeep Narwal, last season, the franchise finished in 3rd position.
The franchise has decided to continue with Jasveer Singh in the forthcoming season. It remains to be seen whether they improve their position compared to last season.
U Mumba – Anil Chaprana
U Mumba has also decided to continue with Anil Chaprana in season 9.
He joined the franchise in season 8 and will continue to coach the team in the upcoming season.
