Pro Kabaddi League: Puneri Paltan and Patna Pirates play out the first draw of the ninth season
The VIVO Pro Kabaddi League clash between Puneri Paltan and Patna Pirates ended with a 34-34 draw at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru on October 8

Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat added points to help Puneri Paltan race to a 5-3 lead in the 5th minute. Sunil made some excellent tackles to halt the attacks of Puneri Paltan, but they kept extending the lead.
Patna Pirates launched an All-Out on the Puneri Paltan in the 11th minute to take a 12-9 lead. However, Puneri Paltan limited their opponents to two players on the mat and regained their lead. Aslam Inamdar gave an excellent performance to help Puneri Paltan gain a seven-point lead by the end of the first half.
Three-time champions Patna Pirates roared back in the second half as Sachin clinched a couple of successful raid points, followed by an All-Out raid to gain a 26-24 lead.
Rohit Gulia pulled off a magnificent raid to help Patna Pirates widen the lead, while Akash Shinde and Aslam Inamdar fought back to equalize the score at 30-30. Both sides exchanged point for point until 34-34, and the match ended with a 34-34 tie.
Gujarat Titans VS Tamil Thalaivas
The VIVO Pro Kabaddi League clash between Gujrat Titans and Tamil Thalaivas ended with a spectacular 31-31 tie.
Rakesh scored 31 points for Gujarat Giants, while debutant Narender registered a SUPER 10 for Tamil Thalaivas. Both squads did not take too many chances and focused on defence.
Haryana Steelers VS Bengal Warriors
In the day’s final match, Haryana Steelers secured a 41-33 victory over Bengal Warriors at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru on October 8. The young guns of the Haryana Steelers completely dominated Bengal Warriors with their raids.
