Arjun Deshwal was the highest scorer with 15 raid points, and Ankush Rathee made a decent five-raid contribution to the tally. The first half was characterized by a barrage of raids leading to an intense trade-off between both sides.

Arjun Deshwal effected a Super-Raid on Rinku, Surinder Singh, and Jai Bhagwan that was dispiriting for U Mumba in the starting few minutes. The Jaipur Pink Panthers were unstoppable as they inflicted an All-out to take a 9-1 lead.

But U Mumba gave a tough fight as Heidarali Ekrami exacted a Super-raid on Ankush, Rahul Chaudhari, and Sahul Kumar. Their score improved, and they performed their first All-out before the first half to level at 17-17.

The Jaipur Pink Panthers picked up a marginal 20-19 lead in the final trade-off before the interval. U Mumba defenders dominated the second half, and soon, the Jaipur Pink Panthers were at risk of conceding another All-Out.

Defenders Ankush Rathee and Lucky Sharma were on the verge of securing a super tackle, but Ashish Kumar extricated himself from the trap and threw another All-Out.

U Mumba was leading 27-22, and it was Jaipur's turn to inflict an All-Out and reclaim the lead at 34-33. Ultimately, U Mumba's final attempt to win the match and the Jaipur Pink Panthers closed out with a resounding victory.

The Jaipur Pink Panthers have climbed to the second position in the rankings, and Arjun Deshwal's consistency is expected to take them into the later stages. The raider has immense support from Rahul Chaudhari and V Ajith Kumar.

On the other hand, U Mumba now has six wins and five losses under their belt. They are currently fourth behind Bengaluru Bulls.

Sachin Tanwar and Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh lead Patna Pirates to a victory against Haryana Steelers

Sachin Tanwar and Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh struck a mighty victory for the Patna Pirates on Monday. They recorded a 41-32 win over Haryana Steelers in Pro Kabaddi League season nine at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex.

Sachin Tanwar led the tally with 13 points, and the Iranian defender Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh snapped six. Their collective effort was enough to fight a mighty Manjeet Dahiya, who raked in 10 points for his team.

Sachin Tanwar scored the opening raid for the Patna Pirates, and Manjeet Dahiya fought back with a raid and a bonus point. Mohit Nandal then overpowered Sachin Tanwar to boost the Haryana Steelers' confidence.

Interestingly, Sunil Kumar knocked off Meetu Sharma to pull the Patna Pirates ahead, but Haryana quickly threw an effective resurgence to equalise the scoreline. Moments later, Sachin Tanwar intervened with a Super Raid that helped the Patna Pirates head into the break with a 15-10 lead.

They charged into the second half with renewed spirit and inflicted an All-Out on Haryana Steelers. The Patna Pirates were leading 19-12, putting their opposition into a fix.

The Patna Pirates were exploding with energy and rhythm as Neeraj Kumar secured multiple tackle points on the trot. Sachin Tanwar worked his magic in the raiding department.

Patna subsequently secured their second All-Out and extended their lead by 15 points. However, Vinay initiated a comeback for the Steelers with a three-point Super Raid, and Manjeet Dahiya topped it off with a two-point Super Raid to inflict an All-Out.

Sachin Tanwar salvaged the damage caused by scoring a three-point Super Raid, and by full-time, Patna emerged victorious with the last All-Out of the match. The Patna Pirates are in a gradual state of recovery after their campaign started poorly.

The three-time titlists can rise to their former levels as long as the players are in top form
