After an aggressive bidding war between several franchises, Atrachali became the most expensive defender after Puneri Paltan got him for 1.38 Crores.

While Telugu Titans and Dabang Delhi aggressively bid for Atrachali, the last bid was made by the Pune franchise, which took the talented defender away.

Atrachali made 51 tackle points in 22 matches for U Mumba last season. Though U Mumba had an opportunity to use their FBM card to take their splendid defender, they didn't do that.

While Fazel Atrachali was sold for a whopping 1.38 Crores, another talented and experienced player, Sandeep Narwal, went under the hammer soon.

To everyone's surprise, none of the bidding franchises opened the bidding for Sandeep Narwal, and he remained unsold.

There is still a possibility that he will be sold at the last moment; however, his chances of being sold on a high salary are almost nill now.

All-rounder Sandeep Narwal failed to give an extraordinary performance in the last season as expected. He only made 64 raid points in 24 matches, and his successful raid percentage was only 26%.

Despite being the second most expensive all-rounder in the last season and bought by Dabang Delhi for 60 Lacs, he couldn't justify his price and has remained unsold.

UP Yoddhas use FBM Card to take Pardeep Narwal back; Pawan Sehrawat becomes the most expensive player of season 9

Pardeep Narwal was last year's most expensive player, bought by UP Yoddhas for 1.65 Crores.

Despite extensive war between several bidders, UP Yoddha succeeded in taking him back by using their FBM card.

While Pardeep Narwal was last year's most expensive raider, he has been taken over this year by Pawan Sehrawat.

After an aggressive bidding war between Tamil Thalaivas, Haryana Steelers and U Mumba, Tamil Thalaivas made the closing bid of 2.26 Crores taking Sehrawat away.

This is the maximum bid ever placed in any of the Pro Kabaddi League seasons, making Pawan Sehrawat the most expensive PKL player ever.
