Lucas Ocampos saw another goal ruled out just before half-time following a VAR review for offside in the build-up.

Sevilla, though, did double their lead just two minutes into the second half through a looping header Loic Bade.

Sevilla go on to play Juventus after the Italians drew 1-1 away at Sporting Lisbon to progress 2-1 on aggregate.

Juve earlier learned the club's appeal against a 15-point deduction in Serie A for allegations of false accounting had been upheld following a hearing by the Sports Guarantee Panel at the Italian National Olympic Committee, with a new trial ordered to take place.

Adrien Rabiot fired Juve into a ninth-minute lead, but Sporting were soon level through a penalty from Marcus Edwards.

Massimiliano Allegri's men, though, held out to secure a first European semi-final in six years.

Bayer Leverkusen are also through after a 4-1 win at Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium completed a 5-2 aggregate victory.

An early goal from Moussa Diaby and Mitchel Bakker's volley put the Germans in command at the break before Jeremie Frimpong added a third.

Substitute Casper Terho's deflected effort reduced the deficit, but Adam Hlozek wrapped things up with a late fourth.

Jose Mourinho's Roma overcame a 1-0 first-leg deficit to beat Feyenoord 4-1 after extra-time to secure a 4-2 aggregate win.

Leonardo Spinazzola broke the deadlock on the hour, but Igor Paixao's equaliser with 10 minutes put the Dutch side back in front overall. However, Paulo Dybala struck in the 89th minute to send the tie to extra-time.

Stephan El Shaarawy scored a third for Roma in the 101st minute, with Lorenzo Pellegrini adding a fourth, given following a lengthy VAR review by English referee Anthony Taylor. Feyenoord finished with 10 men following a late red card for forward Santiago Gimenez.

A mistake from Lucas Paqueta allowed Hugo Cuypers to put the Belgians in front after 26 minutes but Michail Antonio's header soon had the Irons level.

West Ham were awarded a penalty early in the second half following a VAR review of a handball, with Paqueta making amends for his earlier error to coolly dispatch the spot-kick.

Captain Declan Rice added a third just a couple of minutes later with a fine solo goal after running from inside his own half.

Antonio drilled in a fourth, with Jarrod Bowen then seeing his effort ruled out for handball in the build-up as David Moyes' side continued their European adventure to book a semi-final date with AZ Alkmaar.

The Dutch side had earlier beaten Anderlecht 4-1 on penalties after the tie ended 2-2 on aggregate after extra-time following a 2-0 home win for AZ.

With neither side able to find a winner before the end of extra-time, as Jens Odgaard saw his goal for the hosts ruled out for offside, it was down to a penalty shoot-out with AZ's Australian goalkeeper Mathew Ryan the hero, saving two spot-kicks.

Fiorentina held off a fightback by Lech Poznan to progress 6-4 on aggregate despite a 3-2 defeat in the second leg at Stadio Artemio Franchi.

The Italians had looked in control of the tie after a 4-1 away victory, but Poznan hit back to level the tie after an early goal from Afonso Sousa was followed up by a penalty from Kristoffer Velde and Artur Sobiech made it 3-0 on the night with 20 minutes left.

Fiorentina, though, got themselves back in front in the tie through Riccardo Sottil before Gaetano Castrovilli made sure of the result with another goal in stoppage time.

Basel came through extra-time to beat Nice 2-1 at the Allianz Riviera for a 4-3 aggregate victory.

Gaetan Laborde put the French side ahead in the ninth minute. Basel, though, mounted a comeback as Jean-Kevin Augustin levelled late on.

Kasim Adams' header eight minutes into the first period of extra-time eventually settled matters.
