Robbie Savage backs Man City to complete another treble by winning these two additional trophies

Planet Sport Bet ambassador Robbie Savage has made a bold Manchester City prediction as Pep Guardiola looks to match - or even improve - on the successes of last season.

    Pep Guardiola. Pep Guardiola.

Manchester City piled more silverware onto their already stacked mantelpiece last week after claiming the UEFA Super Cup away in Athens.

The Sky Blues defeated Sevilla on penalties as they bagged their first trophy of the new season.

Pep Guardiola's side could've had two honours to their name this term if not for their defeat to Arsenal in the Community Shield.

Nevertheless, there is still plenty for City to go at this season - five more trophies to be exact.

Former Premier League midfielder Robbie Savage has backed the Citizens to win at least two more competitions.

He told Planet Sport: "At the start of the season, City had seven trophies to play for. The Community Shield, the Super Cup, the Club World Cup, the Premier League, the Champions League, the FA Cup and the League Cup.

"They've won one so far out of seven, how many will they win?

"The Super Cup is in the bag. I think they'll win a domestic trophy and I'll go with the FA Cup. I think they'll win the Premier League as well.

"Out of seven trophies this season, I'm going for Manchester City to win three."

City have enjoyed a perfect start to their league campaign, picking up back-to-back victories over Burnley and Newcastle.

Guardiola's men are yet to concede a single goal in the Premier League and will take on newly promoted Sheffield United in the next round of fixtures.
