Kane converted in the 75th minute and climbed past Andy Cole to become third on the list of all-time top scorers in the league's history with 188 goals.

His goal arrived after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's opener for the Spurs. Although Aleksandar Mitrovic netted a late goal for Fulham to stir up the competition, Spurs persevered to increase their tally to four wins, and two draws so far.

Fulham's lineup was affected when American left back Antonee Robinson scoured away with an injury in the 29th minute, which shook up their defence.

Tottenham was already creating chances thanks to Pierre-Emile Højbjerg and his clean partnership with Richarlison, who made his debut for Antonio Conte's side.

Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno was credited with many good saves, but they conceded in the 75th minute. Ryan Sessegnon passed a loose ball to Kane, who struck home.

Aleksandar Mitrović made a last-ditch effort seven minutes from full time and almost forced an equaliser, but goalkeeper Hugo Lloris tipped the shot over.

The save was crucial as Richarlison's goal in stoppage time was ruled out as he was seemingly offside before his shot touched the net.
