Nathan Collins on brink of Brentford move, Tottenham target £30m-rated Wolves defender

Wolves are likely to reshape their defence this summer, with Nathan Collins set to join Brentford and Max Kilman a reported &pound;30million target for Tottenham.&nbsp; </p>

The men from Molineux finished 13th in the Premier League table last season, seven points clear of the relegation zone. </p>

Manager Julen Lopetegui does not fancy another fight for survival so is looking to shake up his squad in this summer's transfer window, with Republic of Ireland defender Collins believed to be on the brink of a £25m move to Brentford. </p>

The 22-year-old only signed for Wolves from Burnley for £20.5m last summer - but looks to be on the move after making 19 league appearances last term. </p>

Thomas Frank's Bees, who finished ninth in the 2022/23 table on 59 points, have already had bids of £20m and £22m rejected by Wolves - but they are still in talks over Collins and are expected to meet the club's valuation of £25m. </p>

Ruben Neves' £47m switch to Al Hilal is all set to go through, so that and the Collins sale would give Lopetegui the chance to put his own stamp on the playing squad this summer. </p>

There are question marks over the future of Kilman, however, with the 6ft 4ins defender having caught Tottenham's eye in his 37 league appearances last term. </p>

New Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has already secured his first signing, landing Dejan Kulusevski on a contract until 2028. </p>

But the former Celtic manager is reportedly a big fan of 26-year-old Kilman, who was bought for £40,000 in 2018 so would generate a significant profit if sold this summer. </p>
