So United have shifted their target to Nunez but other clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are all interested in sacking the Uruguay international. Nunez would most certainly want to play in Europe’s top-tier competition, but United need to be capable of selling him the long-term project. The 22-year-old might jump at the opportunity of becoming a key figure in the upcoming rebuilding of Old Trafford.

Manchester United are trying to sack Norwich City full-back Max Aarons, who is also being pursued by Arsenal. The England U-21 international has two years remaining on his contract as Norwich plan to arrange for finances if they are downgraded from the Premier League. Meanwhile, United are also looking for a right-back as a substitute for Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Bundesliga duo Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund also want the £20-million rated Norwich defender, while Roma and Barcelona are the other clubs chasing him. Wan-Bissaka currently is underperforming as a starter in the club so he needs competition so that it pushed him.
Reports state that United had eight managers who could potentially replace interim boss Ralf Rangnick. The team are now fixated upon Ajax head coach Erik ten Hag, although other coaches were considered. United’s football director John Murtough set up a final four-man shortlist including Ten Hag, Mauricio Pochettino, Luis Enrique, and Julen Lopetegui. Furthermore, Thomas Tuchel, Zinedine Zidane, Brendan Rodgers, and Julian Nagelsmann were also considered. Enrique bowed out of the contest to invest in Spain ahead of the World Cup this winter. So is only a matter of time before ten Hag joins the clan and proceeds to run a massive transformation within the club.
