The Gunners have agreed to sign a Premier League player, while Manchester United wants to sign a German defender.

    A potential transfer to Arsenal

Oleksandr Zinchenko is almost about to make a move to Arsenal after they placed an offer to Manchester City. The Ukraine international started playing for the side from UEFA in 2016 for £1.7million and made his debut in October 2017 after his loan period at Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven ended. However, he has only played in 15 Premier League matches despite undergoing steady improvement. The 25-year-old wants to play first-team football, so a move to Arsenal might be on the cards. Arsenal and Manchester City have reportedly reached a verbal agreement for Zinchenko. The deal will be for an estimated £ 30 million as personal terms are still being discussed. The following steps would involve examining the salary and length of the contract to complete the agreement.

Man Utd targets players from Bundesliga

Manchester United is still looking for talented centre-backs regardless of ongoing deals involving Lisandro Martinez and others. The Red Devils are soon to announce the signing of the Ajax defender for €55m, apart from Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly, Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane, Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones in that department. However, another report claims that they are targetting another centre-back this summer. More sources state that the club wants to bolster their defence with Augsburg defender Felix Uduokhai. He is now one of the options being considered by the Red Devils as they continue to look at defensive reinforcements.

Chelsea revives interest in Jules Kunde

Chelsea wants to restore their interest in Sevilla defender Jules Kunde after Nathan Ake decided to stay in Manchester City. It has been a year since the Blues have been linked to the France international, with the centre-back almost shifting to Stamford Bridge last summer. Now, they will start another bid to sack the player after a decision was made for Ake to remain in Manchester as Chelsea failed to meet their monetary expectations. The Blues have already signed Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly. Still, they are eager to land one more centre-back after Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen move out with free transfers this summer. After Ake decides to stay back, Chelsea is determined to set up meetings with Paris Saint-Germain over Presnel Kimpembe besides reviving their interest in Kunde.
