According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have targeted Bayern's influential midfielder, Kimmich, who is contemplating a departure following Julian Nagelsmann's unexpected exit in March.

However, negotiations may not be straightforward due to the strained relationship between Barcelona and Bayern after the Robert Lewandowski transfer saga.

Bayern might demand a premium fee for the discontented Kimmich, whose market value is approximately €45m.

While Kimmich gears up for a Bundesliga match against RB Leipzig on Saturday, Barcelona, having already secured the La Liga title, will face Real Sociedad on the same day.
