    Patnaik unveiled the World Cup Village at Rourkela's Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium Complex.

    India will field an 18-member squad for the World Cup, with Harmanpreet Singh named captain and Amit Rohidas serving as his deputy.

    India is in Pool D, alongside England, Spain, and Wales. The Men in Blue will play Spain in their first game on January 13 at the newly built Birsa Munda Stadium in Rourkela, followed by England in their second pool D fixture. Harmanpreet Singh's team will play Wales in its third group encounter in Bhubaneswar.
