India will host the countries between October 28 and November 6. The first match will be played against New Zealand on October 28, followed by the second match against Spain on October 30.

The Blue Tigers will compete in their return leg matches against New Zealand and Spain on October 4 and 6, respectively. In the break between both legs, New Zealand and Spain will engage in a double-header against each other on October 29 and November 5.

The FIH Pro League will be held between October 28, 2022, and July 5, 2023. India will compete against Germany and Australia at home in March 2023.

India will encounter Germany on March 10, and after a day-long break, the Blue Tigers will face Australia in the first match of the two-legged draw. The second-leg matches against Germany and Australia will occur on March 13 and 15, respectively.

Germany and Australia will likewise play their FIH Pro League matches against each other in India. They will then set out on tour to Europe for their away matches against reigning Olympic Champions Belgium (May 26 and June 2), Great Britain (May 27 and June 3), Netherlands (June 7 and 10) and Argentina (June 8 and 11).

The International Hockey Federation (FIH) released the schedule for the fourth edition of the hockey tournament on March 24, 2022.

Coach Graham Reid happy about the lineup

Indian men's hockey team chief coach Graham Reid believes their draw is well spaced out and gives them enough time and opportunity to practice before the 2023 World Cup.

He acknowledged FIH for its attempt to reduce travelling and called the new schedule a "good development" for the league. FIH has adopted the idea of utilising multiple teams in one location this year.

Besides calling it a good development, Reid remarked how it would provide a unique tactical preparation between games where "traditionally the games against the same team are back-to-back."
