    Within the regulation time, Timur Oruz in the fourth minute, Niklas Wellen in the 30th minute and Müller Hannes in the 39th minute were the goalscorers for Germany. At the same time, none of the Argentina players could score.

    The German men's hockey squad gave an excellent performance to end their run in Mendoza with a 3-0 victory and will walk away with eight points despite a five-minute suspension for Raphael Hartkopf.

    The Argentine forward made back-to-back penetrations into the German circle but failed to convert any of the opportunities. Timur Oruz opened the scoring for Germany with a fantastic backhand shot in the fourth minute. Both sides failed to score any more goals, and the first half ended with a 1-0 lead for Germany.

    Germany continued their attacking momentum in the second half as Niklas Wellen slotted the ball into the net to double the lead after receiving a pass from Mats Grambusch.

    Niklas Wellen was the star playmaker for Germany and created lots of trouble for the Argentine defenders. Muller Hannes broke towards the German goal in the 39th minute and fired the ball past two dividing defenders to make it 3-0 for Germany.

    Germany had nine penalty corner opportunities, while Argentina lost steam after they failed to match the superior performance of the Argentine defence.

    In a post-match interview, the man of the match Niklas Wellen, said, "We knew what was coming and the style that Argentina plays. The defence was good and our corner defence was really, really good and that's definitely what we need if we want to have a good performance at the World Cup."

    The next FIH Hockey Pro League clash will feature Argentina and Belgium locking horns at the Estadio Mendocino de Hockey in Mendoza, Argentina, on November 8.

    Germany now stands at the second spot on the FIH Hockey Pro League table with eight points, while Argentina stands fourth with four points.

    Germany secured a 3-0 victory in the women's category in the shootout, following a 2-2 draw within the regulation time on November 9.
