It's reported that Team Liquid are considering making major changes to their CS:GO line-up, including the possible departure of franchise player EliGE and a move to Europe.

The team are said to be in talks with Team Spirit rifler Robert "Patsi" Isyanov and Bulgarian rifler Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov, aiming to integrate them into the team for the second half of 2023, coinciding with the release of CS2 this summer.

The information about Liquid's discussions with Patsi was initially shared by Russian insider Aleksey "OverDrive" Biryukov on Twitter and later confirmed by HLTV's North American division, Dust2.us.

Moreover, Dust2.us also revealed that Liquid are considering selling EliGE in favour of Rainwaker, which would result in the team becoming predominantly European.

While Liquid have been left with only four players following nitr0's departure, the potential departure of EliGE comes as a surprise.

The 25-year-old has been an integral part of the team since March 2015 and played a crucial role in their Intel Grand Slam trophy win in 2019.

However, the final decisions regarding these changes are expected to be made within the next 36 hours.

Patsi's potential addition to the team would enhance their firepower, as he has demonstrated impressive individual performance, boasting an average rating of 1.09 over the past year while predominantly serving as a hard entry-fragger for Team Spirit.

This signing could also alleviate pressure on YEKINDAR and allow him to focus more on his leadership role within the team.
