Super Smash Bros creator still passionate about making games
Masahiro Sakurai, co-creator of Super Smash Bros, reflected on the changing landscape of the gaming industry in a recent episode of his "Creating Games" series.

Expressing a sense of loss for the familiar faces no longer present in the industry, Sakurai acknowledged the enduring legacy of established figures but noted the departure of others, some of whose current whereabouts remain unknown.
Despite the tinge of sadness, Sakurai emphasised that those who left shouldn't be considered failures. Some may have achieved their goals in gaming, akin to Reggie Fils-Aime of Nintendo, while others might have found their true calling in alternative fields.
Sakurai revealed that he, too, has embraced new avenues, creating games and venturing into content creation on his YouTube channel.
This departure from traditional expectations reflects the evolving landscape and opportunities now available. Although speculation has arisen about Sakurai's potential involvement in the next Super Smash Bros title, no official confirmation has been made.
His interests extend beyond a single franchise, leaving the future of his game development ventures open to diverse possibilities.
