T1 swept OK BRION 2-0 in their recent skirmish, moving to second place in the current Split standings. Faker, who is in his 11th year in esports, nearly reached another milestone.

"I don't mind the records, so there's no regret that I didn't make it today," said the South Korean, as per invenglobal.com.

"I'll have another chance next time. I'm satisfied that we had a clean 2-0 win. I made a mistake early in game 2, but we were able to do well thanks to my teammates' help.

"We'll prepare well so that we can get good results against Kwangdong Freecs. Thank you always for cheering for us."

The buffed Azir is Faker's most favoured champion - next to Ahri - this Split, with a perfect win record after three picks.

"Azir is a versatile champion," added Faker.

"Its biggest strength is that you can make a variety of plays with it."
