Team Revenant dominated the tournament and won all their group stage and playoff matches. They won the championship match against Ascension with a score of 3-1 to win the regional qualifiers and the prize money of USD 20,000.

The Revenant squad travelled to London, England, to represent India at the 2022 Pokemon UNITE World Championships set to take place on the 19th and 20th of August. The tournament will feature a prize pool of a whopping USD 5,00,000.

A total of 16 teams from 26 countries have qualified for the inaugural edition of the Pokemon UNITE World Championship. The teams will be split into four groups of four teams each, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the playoffs.

All matches except the final will be played in a double elimination best-of-three format. The championship match will be played in a best-of-five format with a bracket reset.

The captain of Team Revenant, Raunak Sen (Crowley), said, "Having earned a lot of recognition through DOTA 2, it feels like a great accomplishment to represent your country on the international stage for multiple games. Everyone in the team put in a lot of effort and was confident about our chances right from the beginning."

He added, "This was visible in the qualifiers as we went unbeaten in the regional championships despite the high level of competition. I hope that we transition that form to the World Championship as well and bag the trophy."
