    No More Heroes 3 overview

In No More Heroes 3, set nine years after the first game's events, the main character Travis Touchdown is once more attempting to climb the ranks of assassins.

The twist is that this time, all of the assassins are extraterrestrial, and Travis is attempting to stop them so he can find a terrible alien named FU and stop him from destroying the world.

Travis Touchdown, a giant otaku who turned into a master assassin after winning a beam katana at an auction, returns in the third installment of the No More Heroes series. He now has to come out of retirement to stop an alien invasion.

"Being the number-one assassin in the world isn't what it used to be. Otaku hero Travis Touchdown is back once more, forced out of retirement to defend Santa Destroy–and Earth–in an intergalactic test of might while proving he's more than just a has-been who talks to his cat. "

"Warm up those beam katanas, tighten the all-new Death Glove, and get ready to partake in outrageous boss battles against the evil Prince FU and his nine alien henchmen as Travis fights his way to the top of the Galactic Superhero Rankings!"

"No More Heroes III will arrive on new platforms with improved HD visuals and framerates, along with faster loading times to keep players dishing out eye-popping ultraviolence."

The No More Heroes 3 release, according to the series' creator Goichi Suda, the CEO of Grasshopper Manufacture and possibly better known by his online alias Suda51, signals the end of the No More Heroes franchise, which debuted in 2007.

No More Heroes had its North American premiere in 2008 when it was released for the Nintendo Wii. Travis Touchdown, the protagonist of the anime television series, begins the first season as a resident of the made-up town of Santa Destroy, California.

The game follows the character's escapades as he attempts to rise to the top of the fictional United Assassin's Association after winning a beam katana in an online auction.
