Esports News: PUMA enters Indian esports and signs sponsorship deal with Revenant Esports
One of India's fastest-growing esports organizations in India, Revenant Esports, has signed sports brand PUMA as their official kit partner in a one-year deal

The creators and Esports roster of Revenant Esports will wear the exclusive kits produced by PUMA following the partnership. This sponsorship is one of the most crucial non-endemic brand partnerships in the Indian esports industry.
Revenants Esports is home to the top esports talent in India. They are currently preparing for upcoming esports tournaments, including the PokeCon 2022.
Founder and CEO of Revenant Esports, Rohit Jagasia said, "PUMA is one of the most successful sports brands in the world, and it makes us incredibly proud to be the first Esports team in India to be associated with them."
He added, "This partnership is a step in the right direction for Revenant Esports and a testament to our aim of enriching the experience of the esports community and our fans."
Both brands will have a shared aim to propel Esports to greater heights by making their presence felt in the Indian esports community.
More than 100 brands have signed deals in the Indian esports industry this year compared to 72 in 2021, according to a recent FICCI-EY report. Just like traditional esports, merchandising helps fuel the growth of esports organizations by building loyalty among fans and spreading brand awareness.
PUMA generated record revenues last year to emerge as the top sports brand in India. They have partnered with several international esports companies and are now keen to reinforce their presence in the Indian esports market by collaborating with Revenant Esports.
Executive Director-Retail, PUMA India said, "India is one of the biggest markets for the video gaming community and competitive esports is immensely influencing our youth across tiers. As a brand, PUMA strongly supports influences on youth culture such as sports, fitness, art, cinema, music, and now new age sports i.e. Esports."
