Assistant coach 'Nukeduck' will fill in as the starting mid laner for the opening week.

Visa problems have once again affected an LCS team, hindering 100 Thieves' strong season start.

With high expectations after acquiring 'Bjergsen' and 'Doublelift', 100 Thieves fell short in the regular season with a 10-8 record and struggled in weeks four to six.

Their playoffs were disappointing, losing to FlyQuest and Golden Guardians. Bjergsen's retirement created a roster gap, which Quid was expected to fill.

Instead, Nukeduck, who last played in the LEC in 2022, steps in. He has been with 100 Thieves as an assistant coach and played against FlyQuest at 8pm CT before resuming his coaching duties.
