SRH's weak batting line-up is supported by their strong bowlers.

Sunrisers Hyderabad is currently at the bottom of the table owing to their perennial batting failure. Despite a change in their squad following mega auctions, the team looks to have a similar line-up as in previous seasons. They have quality bowlers, but batting is heavily-dependent on captain Kane Williamson. The absence of a few overseas players is an added disadvantage. Apart from Kane Williamson in the top-order, the team needs a good batting performance from their middle-order batters Nicholas Pooran, Washington Sundar, and Aiden Markram. They got outplayed by Rajasthan Royals in their first match. Without many players to contribute with the bat, the bowling department with local Indian talent can help the team make the game competitive for the opposition.

Dream start for Lucknow Super Giants

Lucknow Super Giants is placed fifth in the points table. They have a balanced squad for both batting and bowling. They did lose a match in a thriller against Gujarat Titans but made a comeback in the second match against Chennai Super Kings to chase down a big target. They carry great batting depths and good bowlers who need to avoid losing runs at the start of the play. One of the most pleasing sights for fans in this franchise is the new young sensation Ayush Badoni, who enlightens the ground with his shots in even pressure situations. Fans might get to see another star all-rounder as Jason Holder has completed quarantine and has trained with the team too.

    Pitch Report

The pitch at DY Patil offers reasonable bounce and helps seamers with the new ball. Dew might not be a role-playing factor if a fair amount of wind keeps blowing.

    Probable Playing XI

Sunrisers Hyderabad: Abhishek Sharma, Rahul Tripathi, Kane Williamson (c), Nicholas Pooran (wk), Aiden Markram, Abdul Samad, Washington Sundar, Romario Shepherd, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, Umran Malik

Lucknow Super Giants: KL Rahul(c), Quinton de Kock(w), Evin Lewis, Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni, Krunal Pandya, Dushmantha Chameera, Andrew Tye / Jason Holder, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan

Though Lucknow Super Giants looks strong and more stable compared to the opposing team, Sunrisers Hyderabad would like to bounce back to open their account and improve their position in the table. It will be interesting to see if KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants will be able to deliver another strong performance and register a second win for the season.
