Top four batsmen to watch out for in SA20

    Jos Buttler (Paarl Royals)

Buttler needs no introduction to the cricketing community. He is one of the best white-ball players of this generation. He played an important role in England's campaign in the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

With 225 runs at that T20 World Cup, at an average of 45.00 and a strike rate of 144.23, Buttler is in fine form. He has also very much lived up to the captaincy role he was given ahead of the World Cup.

Buttler is a world-class player, and it would be no surprise if he is the leading run-scorer in the first edition of the SA20.

    Dewald Brevis (MI Cape Town)

He is one of South Africa's most promising young talents. After performing phenomenally at the U19 World Cup, he went on to participate in a few leagues around the world, including the Indian Premier League.

His fans know Brewis as a junior AB de Villiers because of his batting stance and batting skills. Mumbai Indians quickly took notice of his talent and signed him for their IPL campaign. It is no surprise that they also signed Brevis for the SA20. Brevis is a player to watch out for.

    Aiden Markram (Sunrisers Eastern Cape)

Aiden Markram is currently ranked fifth in the ICC Men's T20 rankings for batters. He has been playing very consistently for South Africa in this format.

Markram has a wide range of batting skills against fast bowlers and spinners. His record at home is testament to his ability on South African pitches.

Markram can provide momentum in the innings when needed and stability when the team is in trouble. He is one of the batsmen to watch out for in the upcoming tournament.

    Will Jacks (Pretoria Capitals)

Will Jacks be an experienced player who has featured in various T20 leagues around the world? He is comfortable at any position in the batting order, but he usually opens the innings.

Jacks has an average of 29.10 and an excellent strike rate of 154.39 in T20 cricket. His highest score in this format is 108 not out.

He showed excellent performances at The Hundred 2022. Based on his current form and experience.
