Despite reviewing its ODI form, Bangladesh has been unable to repeat it in the T20I format. Bangladesh is not adjusting to the format's pace.

In the T20 format, New Zealand has adopted a different style of cricket and has been playing well. Kane Williamson has not been amongst runs and that is the only sight concern for the side.

It will be an opportunity for both New Zealand and Bangladesh to claim their first victory.

    New Zealand players to watch

     1. Devon Conway: He only managed 36 runs in the last match, but he has a solid record in this format.

     2. Tim Southee: He is New Zealand's highest wicket-taker in this format and has a lot of experience. Given that he will open the bowling and bowl the death overs.

    Pitch Report

Expect a hard-fought pitch at the Hagley Oval, as the average first innings here is 168. Although the pacers took eight of the 13 wickets in the last match, the spinners will also get help. Chasing would be the preferred option, as the pitch is unlikely to change much during the game.
