Gloucestershire registered their third win in this campaign to find the fourth spot on the list with this win.

Glamorgan got off to a strong start in their batting innings with a solid opening stand between David Lloyd (68) and Sam Northeast (24), partnering for 90 runs off 63 balls. Benny Howell dominated the batters in the 10th and 12 over to dismiss both the set openers. Post their dismissal, the hosts struggled to capitalise on their big inning created by openers as visitors wrestled their way back into the game. Benny Howell's variations and Tom Smith's left-arm spin choked the Glamorgan middle order as wickets fell regularly. Interestingly, Gloucestershire tried eight bowlers to take over Glamorgan, and to an extent, they succeeded as well, as they restricted them to 158/8 in 20 overs.

Gloucestershire, too, got off to a stable start, reaching 54 without loss at the end of the powerplay. Dan Douthwaite brought a breakthrough in the form of Miles Hammond (31). Opener James Bracey partnered 76 runs in 53 balls with Glenn Phillips to take Gloucestershire ahead in the chase game. The duo smashed 12 boundaries in their respective innings. Glamorgan missed Michael Neser due to his inning penetration with a damp ball. Though most of the job was done by Miles Hammond, James Bracey and Glenn Phillips, the team saw wickets falling in clusters, reviving hopes for hosts. However, it was too late to dominate with so less to defend. The team successfully chased down the target in 19 overs at the loss of five wickets.

Glamorgan has their next fixture against Hampshire on 10th June, whereas Gloucestershire will lock horns with Somerset on 9th June 2022.
