Football Transfer : Romelu Lukaku return's to Inter Milan; Raheem Sterling plans to a Chelsea move
After a miserable season at Stamford Bridge, Romelu Lukaku had wished to return to Inter Milan

After a long meeting with Chelsea, he has sealed the deal to return to Inter on load. Lukaku only scored 15 goals in the 44 appearances he made for Chelsea in the 2021-22 season and wasn't satisfied with his performance. Reportedly, Steven Zhang, Inter's owner, has agreed on an initial loan fee of £6m with a subsequent bonus of £1.7m.
Reports say that Lukaku had been wishing to and making efforts to return to Inter after announcing in a controversial December interview that he would be returning to Inter Milan. Some reports also claim that he called Simone Inzaghi, Inter's boss, on his birthday. He wished him a happy birthday and then asked him what he could do to return to the club. It seems that the Belgian star's wish finally came true as he succeeded in returning to Inter on loan for the summer.
Now that Lukaku has left the blues, there will also be some commotion in Chelsea for transfers. Reportedly, the transfer of the star of Manchester City, Raheem Sterling, is the most likely to occur. Reports claim that one of the top targets for Todd Boehly; this season is Sterling, and the news of his final transfer to Chelsea may soon be live. However, the transfer may not be that easy. Manchester City expects a hefty transfer fee of £50m and £60m for Sterling's transfer.
Another reason for Sterling's transfer is that he may not fit into Pep Guardiola's plans for this season. Sterling has been more than vocal about how this season means a lot to his career, and given his not-so-good performance with City last season; it may not be the right move for him to continue with the club. Sterling's contract with City is ending next year, and he could move out before the contract ends. Though Real Madrid has also been interested in the star, Chelsea is more likely to take away Sterling as long as they agree to pay the fee City expects.
Pep Guardiola has always said that he doesn't like to keep players who are not happy to stay with the club. Given Guardiola's attitude, City might not be too resistant to letting Sterling go. Gabriel Jesus plans to leave City for Arsenal this season despite being in contract with City for another season.
