    Due to the D/L method, New Zealand won the second match by a large margin of 50 runs, bringing the series to 1-1.

    New Zealand's batting battled once more, and they were bowled out for 212 runs. Finn Allen led the way with 96 runs off 117 balls, and Daryl Mitchell chipped in with 41 runs off 63 balls.

    Kevin Sinclair took four wickets and Jason Holder took three, conceding only 24 runs in nine overs.

    New Zealand bowlers dominated the game from the start, dismissing the hosts for only 161 runs. 

    The majority of West Indies' runs came from the lower order, led by Alzarri Joseph's 49 runs off just 31 balls and Yannic Cariah's top score of 52 runs.

    Tim Southee took four wickets while conceding 22 runs for New Zealand, and Trent Boult took three wickets while conceding only 18 runs in six overs.

    The series is leveled 1-1 and the third ODI will be the series decider.
