England has started giving chances to young talents in the international series. The England Cricket Board has cleared their aggressive game plan, and thus the search for the perfect World Cup squad goes accordingly.

England has a solid, stable red ball bowling attack, but they are constantly under experimentation for the white ball. Though England is already equipped with the best finishers and openers, the promise shown by a few young talents could not be ignored. Here are three players who could be part of England's T20 World Cup squad this year.

Harry Brook: The 23-year-old right-hand batter who debuted in T20I in January 2022 against West Indies, caught everyone's attention while representing Yorkshire in Vitality T20 Blast. His intent to play match-winning knocks aggressively syncs well with the ongoing game plan of the England team. His performance in domestic cricket landed him the chance to fill in the middle-order in 3 T20Is against India. The batter scored 55 runs in 3 matches, averaging 18.33 with a strike rate of 134.14. His considerable strike rate makes him a potential player for the middle-order and fits in the role of a finisher. Right now, his equation in the playing XI for the World Cup might be complicated, but he will find a place in the squad as an immediate backup for any middle to the lower-order batter.

Reece Topley: The left-arm fast-medium bowler has played 12 T20I matches after debuting in 2015. Deprived of chances to be a part of the Playing XI owing to his chequered injury history, the player, after having a decent outing in Vitality Blast, got a chance to be part of England's playing XI against India. And on a special note, the bowler made headlines in the 2nd ODI against India at Lords. He not only recorded his career-best figures of 6/24 but also the best ODI figures by an England bowler against India. The value he added to England's white-ball team with the ability to ball with a new and old ball and hit the deck hard makes him a valuable addition to the English bowling line-up for the Australian pitches.

Richard Gleeson:  After playing professional cricket at 27, the 34-year-old right-arm fast bowler debuted in his long-awaited playing career against India in T20Is. Carrying an impressive strike rate of 17.4 in 68 matches played in T20s, the bowler continued his special form to take four wickets in 2 international games at an economy of 5.75 and strike rate of 12.0. After his impressive show in the T20Is, the debutante expressed that he might get a shot at playing in the T20 World Cup later this year if he keeps performing consistently.
