Warwickshire County Cricket Club has signed India international fast bowler Mohammed Siraj for the County Championship's final three matches.

"The 28-year-old will arrive at Edgbaston ahead of the Bears' home match against Somerset on Monday, September 12th," the county club said in a press release.

The right-arm fast bowler got 4 for 66 in the first innings of India's fifth and final Test against England at Edgbaston in July, before adding six more wickets in three ODIs.

Siraj, a natural swinger of the ball, has represented his country 26 times in all formats, capturing 56 wickets. He has taken 403 wickets in 207 career appearances, 194 of which have come in first-class cricket.

"I am excited to join the Bears team. I've always enjoyed representing India in England, therefore I'm looking forward to playing County Cricket," Siraj said.

"Siraj is a terrific addition to the squad and we can't wait to welcome him to Warwickshire," said Paul Farbrace, Director of Cricket for Warwickshire. He is currently one of the top fast bowlers in the world, and his knowledge and experience will help give another depth to our lineup.

"It was obvious that we needed to bolster our bowling attack for the vital run-in stage, and I am thrilled to see what Siraj can accomplish in these three games."

After signing for the Royal London Cup One Day Cup, Siraj will be the second Indian player to represent Warwickshire this season, following Krunal Pandya.
