The series is leveled at 2-2 after Afghanistan won its previous two games in a row to set up an intriguing series-deciding conclusion.

The fourth T20I was a rain-shortened contest, with both teams getting 11 overs each.

The visitors' batsmen had the freedom to use their arms from the get-go and took full advantage of it as they quickly racked up 37 runs in only 2.3 overs.

Najibullah Zadran created havoc with his magnificent century, despite the hosts putting an end to their hostility by taking three early wickets.

Rashid Khan, who worked tirelessly and made a fantastic cameo appearance of his own, helped the Afghan top-order batter.

Ireland got off to an incredible start of their own, but when wickets fell to one end, George Dockrell's heroic effort with the bat was in vain as the visitors won by 27 runs to tie the five-match series.

The series is well-positioned as both teams are focused on winning the entire series going into the decisive game.

    Ireland VS Afghanistan: Pitch Report

The last two games playing conditions have been excellent as the batters have enjoyed themselves on the field. In the previous match, the second innings saw the spinners take control when the surface slowed down a little.

The toss is vital for both teams at this point, and the team that wins it will likely elect to bat first in order to take full advantage of the ideal batting conditions before the slower bowlers enter the match.
