    The new jersey's colour is a few shades lighter than the Indian cricket team wore in the Asia Cup.

    In a campaign named #HarFanKiJersey, BCCI revealed the new jersey to the world. The new jersey is a lighter shade of blue with some dark blue on the shoulder.

    In the middle of the T-shirt is written the sponsor's name, Byju's and the logo of BCCI is placed on the right side of the chest. On the left is the name of the brand that sponsored the kit, MPL.

    The event of the reveal of the new jersey was live telecasted on the official Instagram handle of MPL Sports.

    After the jersey was released today, on 18.09.2022, the fans started sharing their views on the jersey.

    While some liked it and showed excitement for the new jersey, some hated it and filled social media with a significant amount of dislike and detest.

    "I think they have given this to an Interior designer rather than a costume designer.. The Plain light blue older indian jersy was really good. 1/10," said a Twitter user.

    "My blue t-shirt is better than this tbf," said another one.

    "Honestly speaking, it's better than the previous two versions, but definitely doesn't come anywhere near what Nike designed," tweeted a user.

    The new jersey shall be worn by team India during the upcoming T20 World Cup, to be held in Australia this time.

    After India lost to Pakistan in the Asia Cup, this World Cup shall be exciting. To see the two arch-rivals come against each other once again in a T20 match must bring a lot of excitement to the fans of both countries.

    India shall face Pakistan in the T20 World Cup on October 23 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
