Sanju Samson blasted 43 runs against Zimbabwe in 2nd ODIIndia's stand-in captain KL Rahul chose to bowl first after winning the toss.
After deciding to bowl, India dismissed the hosts for 161 before chasing down their goal with 24.2 overs remaining in another comfortable win at the same venue.Â
All six Indian bowlers took wickets, but Shardul Thakur stood out for his brilliant swing bowling, dismissing opener Innocent Kaia (16), skipper Regis Chakabva (2), and Luke Jongwe (6).
Sean Williams was the top scorer for Zimbabwe with a run-a-ball 42, while Ryan Burl was left stranded not out on 39 at the end of the innings.
For India, the early wicket of KL Rahul fell as he was LBW on 1 run. Shikhar Dhawan played a small cameo of 33 runs from 21 balls.
Shubman Gill also contributed to the team's success with a score of 33.
Sanju Samson guided India to a 162-run victory with an unbeaten 43-run knock.
India now leads the series 2-0 with one match remaining.
