    England Changes

Reece Topley, David Willey, and Philip Salt were added to England's starting lineup in three different alterations, as was predicted. Willey and Topley should have always been in the England XI since they are England's greatest possibilities for taking wickets, even though there was one forced alteration due to Ben Stokes' retirement from ODI cricket.

Given that they both fit into the England XI and play comparable roles, many people may have assumed that Sam Curran would need to make way for David Willey. Brydon Carse is benched.

    South Africa Changes

Following the second ODI setback, Keshav Maharaj showed phlegm, and the South Africa team as a whole, particularly the coaches, were spreading the message that there was no need to worry. As a result, barring any unforeseen injury issues, anticipate the same starting XI.
